The waters off Oak Island/ Southport make up one of the most spectacular natural fisheries on the east coast!

There are a lot of hard fighting game fish within a very short ride from our beaches and they provide our anglers with a cooler full of great tasting fish, and Oak Island charter fishing memories that will last a lifetime.

Our nearshore 3 and 5 hour Oak Island charter fishing trips are a great introduction to fishing Oak Island.  By docking at Blue Water Point Hotel and Marina on the western most end of Oak Island at Lockwood Folly Inlet Angry Pelican Charters is able to provide our charter fishing customers with the maximum fishing time. Our boat is in the water, and fishing only minutes after leaving the dock.

Nearshore Oak Island fishing charters just off the beaches of our beautiful island is the perfect place to target Spanish Mackerel, Flounder, Sharks, King Mackerel and Cobia just to mention a few.

At Angry Pelican Oak Island fishing charters our goal is providing nearshore and offshore fishing adventures at the most affordable prices available.  Our charter fishing customers know that whether we are trolling the latest hot spot for King Mackerel or jigging for bottom dwellers over structure, we go out of our way to fill the fish box each and every trip.

A native of North Carolina, Capt. Mark has been fishing the coastal waters from Nags Head, NC to Murrell’s Inlet, SC for over 30 years.  Come join him for the charter fishing experience of a lifetime while enjoying the beautiful blue waters off the coast of Oak Island.

Angry Pelican supports both active and retired Military, as well as First Responders with a 10% discount on all 6 pack fishing charters.
