The waters off Oak Island & Bald Head Island make up one of the most spectacular natural fisheries on the east coast! There are a lot of hard fighting game fish within a very short ride from our beaches and they provide our anglers with a cooler full of great tasting fish, and memories that will last a lifetime.
Our nearshore fishing trips are a great introduction to saltwater fishing. We are docked in downtown Southport at the mouth of the Cape Fear River. Angry Pelican Charters is able to provide our charter fishing customers with the maximum fishing time available with lines in the water only minutes after leaving the dock.
Nearshore Fishing Charters just off the beaches of our beautiful island are the perfect place to target Spanish Mackerel, King Mackerel, Red Drum, Sharks, and Cobia just to name a few.
